To strengthen the PAO sales team, Chevron Phillips Company is looking for an
based in Diegem
You manage and develop the PAO business in EMEA, through direct and indirect sales, and act as a SPOC between your customers and the company. You are part of a strong EMEA sales team of 8 people and report to the Product Line Manager PAO EMEA.
Main responsibilities
You develop the business in the region through hunting and farming, and successfully managing the regional distribution network.
You look for existing and new product applications in line with the strategy.
You visit clients and partners on a regular basis (travel estimated at around 40%).
You coach and manage local agents or distributors by giving relevant information & sales strategy.
You effectively communicate new product introductions and business development initiatives for distributors and channel partners.
You provide service support, complaint handling and problem solving in case of issues and questions.
You monitor regional market intelligence, identify industry trends / competitive activity.
You prepare forecasts representing regional demand changes for monthly S&OP meetings.
You apply personal safe work practices and promotion of Operational Excellence (OE) principles in fulfillment of all duties.
You assist with the collection of any necessary customer financial information, ensure the use of proper payment instruments and are responsible for the collection.
You lead negotiations with key accounts to secure long-term business.
You coordinate semiannual customer and sales meeting events.
You represent the CP Chem PAO at fairs and trade shows.
Your profile
You hold a degree in engineering, business or science.
You have minimum of several years’ experience in technical sales or business development roles.
You have strong inter-personal skills, strategic planning and analytical strengths.
Track record in driving the sales process by negotiating/closing sustainable new business.
You understand financial metrics, margins and profitability.
Experience with SAP, Power BI, Vendavo, CRM and transaction processes
You are open to travel 40% of the time
Fluent in English, other European languages are an asset (such as German, French, Dutch).
You will need to come to the Diegem office on a regular basis.
